Deborah was born in Queens, NY in 1971 and raised on Long Island. At
the age of six her mother died. What started as a six year old
wondering “why,” evolved into a passion for
contemplating and exploring consciousness, the meaning of life, and the
nature of reality.
She received her B.A. in Sociology (emphasis in collective behavior;
riots, protest, and revolution) with a minor in Women’s Studies
from San Diego State University in 1993. While attending University,
Deborah “rabble roused” in all kinds of non-traditional
politically unrestfull activities, that to this day she’s still
learning from.
Deborah has traveled extensively throughout Central America,
Hawaii, and the western United States, questing and exploring the
nature of reality as it is experienced and expressed culturally.
Since 1994, Deborah has home-based in Santa Cruz, CA, where in 1996
she completed her Massage Therapist and Natural Health Counselor
training with over 550 hours of study. Deborah has continued body-work
studies over the years with advanced trainings in numerous modalities,
yet her passion is consciousness and how the state of consciousness we
occupy influences health and well being; how consciousness expresses
itself through the body.
For more than a decade, Deborah has been studying, practicing,
apprenticing, and playing with spirituality and transformational
consciousness with the premier thought leaders of our time including
Native American elders, personal growth gurus, spiritual
teachers/mystics, facilitators, master healers, authors, scientists,
philosophers, originators etc.
Deborah lives in Santa Cruz, CA where she loves to swim, frolic in the
redwoods, grow vegetables, laugh with friends, sit by a fire, dance
wildly, and appreciate life.
